Commission a painting - FAQ

The cost of commissioning a painting is completely dependant on the size of the work and whether framing is included. I am happy to discuss your request and will take on commissions from  6" (15cm) to 6' (2m). Prices start from as little as £50 and for larger paintings a deposit of 15% of the agreed cost will be required

I am often asked for family or pet portraits, but  I only paint landscapes, seascapes or architectural subjects, and occasionally wildlife scenes. A view of your favourite place or a portrait of your home are the most popular requests.

If there is no waiting list for commissions, I would start your work immediately. Small paintings can be ready and framed within a couple of weeks, larger paintings can take 2 months or longer depending on your requirements.
